SCORCHERS LORAIN came about after two brothers from Lorain, Dennis and Wil Castro decided to open up a sports bar themed restaurant/bar in 2001 featuring buffalo style jumbo chicken wings and generous sized sandwiches with a focus on 30 beers on tap. They decided on a downtown Lorain location because of the ongoing development within the immediate area.

The concept was one featuring family friendly casual dining with a WALL OF DRAFTS, or beer selection large enough to satisfy any palate from your domestic beer drinker to your import/microbrew draft connieusier. Scorchers Lorain also offers NTN INTERACTIVE TRIVIA and TEXAS HOLD "EM (at no charge) to it's patrons. OHIO LOTTERY KENO can be played all day long as well.

The Castro brothers have been in business with Scorchers for over 11 years and have put their own mark on the downtown Lorain food scene. "We both hope that you stop in to grab a bite or have a beer and become one of our loyal following."
